Are you happy with the sound on that disc... it's a great price!

It's certainly not hi rez quality...but it's not compressed to death either...it does need "cleaned up" on some songs...slighty muddy at times...I love Hypnotized...it's my favorite on this album...but close behind is Keep On Going..... The Way I feel ...and Why.. with Christine sounding "Perfect"....IMO even with the flaws it's worth $4.00 plus shipping...but if you want a better sounding Mac CD with more "pop" songs you can't beat this one at a great price

I just grabbed that one yesterday. It's loaded for car listening. I wore out Seven Wonders as a speaker demo in my store.

If you don't have it, that's why you need it! - Yogi Berra

It's what you would expect HERE

Hey all you crazy QQ'ers. OK, so I'll start off by saying...

Yeah, yeah....yes, I do love this particular LP. Why? Well, because it brings back great memories of being a young teen in rural central Illinois...no worries...only my newly developing love of music.

So - if you grew up in central Illinois in the early 70's, most likely you were somewhat sheltered from music in general. All we had was the Big 89 on AM radio, WLS. Yeah, that was huge - and it was a monster part of my life back then.

Minus that - all us youngsters had was our older siblings music. Or, our parents.

So....I have very DEAR memories of this LP as I was fascinated by the album cover and for some reason, I loved the way the music sounded. Yes....bring on The Osmonds. I have very fond memories of staring at this LP in the back room and day dreaming about who they were and why did I like the way they sang so much????

So....I say to you all. I could really LOVE to see The Osmonds - Homemade LP reissued in Quad. It would be an excellent disc and I would just be over the moon. Anyway...here is a tune from that release that you gotta say...it sounds excellent....

If You're Gonna Leave Me.....parts of the guitar reminds me of early Peter Frampton....great, great stuff.

I'm about ready to enjoy some Cajun rice and beans with chipotle flavored turkey breast and I'm listening to Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Gold CD mastered by Steve Hoffman...this is really a good disc..and it's what I live for...I want the hits and I want them now...this has become my Dylan go to disc..I don't even bother with the SACD's anymore...of course I'm a "hits" kind of listener most of the time...time to chow down...

I'm pretty sure I've beat this horse to death...but whoa...if we could get Gary Wright Dream Weaver in Quad....I'd pretty much be over the moon. This album was made to be listened in Quad and or 5.1

Maybe that's one of the albums that AF is considering for re-release as a quad, like quicksrt had posted after meeting Marshall Blonstein. It certainly seems like a good possibility...

Geez...I wish. I think over the years, that's one album I have absolutely played to death and never, ever get tired of it. That doesn't happen too often either...

That was a great one. Back when keytars were cool... :smokin

Clint has gotten me thinking about standard CD's again....in the last several months, I've certainly purchased a few CD's that are generally older, popular titles that I never had. The other night, I ordered a remastered version of this one...

If I was buying stereo I'd probably buy SACD and playback the DSD layer. It sounds very, very good. Sure, not everything is available on SACD but I'd certainly keep it in mind as a possible option.

Oh for sure..at this point....I'm all over SACD stereo...if it is in fact older titles that I really enjoy

If you are going the CD route it's always nice to look at the DR numbers if they are available...when buying CD's it's WAY easier to get the right CD version on Ebay...sellers usually provide pictures of the covers of CD's...here is an example of the album you mentioned..of course the DR numbers don't always guarantee better results..but for me it eliminates the ultra compressed discs...which I can't stand...
