Is this a new mix?Sounds more front heavy than I remember, and it's next to nothing in the heights.
It certainly seems like it's been altered.....2nd track has some height activity.

Humm

I reckon John has asked for this release to be toned down in the Atmos department.

This is more like a 5.1 mix

Well that's real sad if so, will delete it,so much else to listen to with real Atmos mixes. The new Halsey is real good.

This is alarming as you appear to have issues that are possibly outliers, many of us are not having the same. Could you detail your equipment and settings for us, perhaps we can help?
Thank you

i feed the 4kTV box into my NAD t778 which drives all but by floor stander fronts.

Fronts are driven by Hegel amp.

i suspect since most ATMOS from Apple, and all other ATMOS for a year or so work perfectly,it is not an eqpt error.

It is a fair wise question though mate and I appreciate your response and welcome anymore you may have.

i have issues with a select few full LPs, and some tracks from other LPs.

Always the same ones,i also have a few mates with same issues, they lie in a different country and have different gear

To be honest it sounds like you have some kind of configuration issue, like your center speaker isn't connected or Atmos isn't properly configured on your processor (maybe you have told it you have speakers that aren't actually connected?). If "vocals" are missing, that sure sounds like the center channel is missing for some reason. Put your ear up to the center channel when listening to Atmos, is anything coming out of it?

Thanks, mate

That would be true if it was across the board, but ATMOS on everything else is perfect, save these select few.

i appreciate your help and welcome continued input.

Can you give us your settings in ATV 4k?? Or a screenshot of the ATV4k audio settings? The NAD T778 is Atmos so that shouldn't be of issue. Also in reference to the T778 for Dolby settings the Dynamic Range Control I would set that to 100% and not auto. The owners manual is contradictory with that setting, so I suspect that leaving it on "auto" might be actually inhibiting performance.
