Although I have a little confession to make, this is playing as I'm watching the new cricketcompetition here in the UK called The Hundred
I'd give the mixing engineer a 100 out of a 100.

this Atmos beauty wants putting on a Blu-ray or something now, this cannot go the way of the dodo and disappear from the service..!!!

Here's a little concern from me about the format in Streaming services (Tidal/Apple Music).
If I have a stereo setup, or a pair of headphones and I listen to any of the Spatial Audio albums by default I'll be listening to a "binaural" audio, which will sound weird, odd, worse than the Stereo, because of the levels and object based and whatnot.
Given that Stereo setups are the mainstream, this will cause a discomfort to customers because Apple will be overpromising and underdelivering, "a more involving audio", which sounds worse. This may cause complaints, and end up by pulling them off the platform (like the Sob Rock album by John Mayer). Which will reduce the possilibities of ever be a more growing market.
Thoughts?

oh yes! i've tried all of those and they are superb in Atmos.. this is elevated beyond at least the Yello & Booka Shade by being a classic album in my eyes.
wow. Sugar and Spice is blasting away now and there's so much cool stuff popping up all over the place! whoever mixed this should be extremely proud, its one of the best surround things i've ever heard.

as my esteemed and learned friend sjcorne remarked in a lovely PM catchup the other day, the overall standard of these new Atmos mixes feels above the level of 5.1 stuff we got at the dawn of DVD-Audio etc. and i concur wholeheartedly, these are "good times"!
Just turn off Dolby Atmos and you only hear stereo files by default.
