Apple is a truly evil, disgusting company. Apple announced a new set of “protection for children” features for US iPhones, but it opens the floodgates to a significant expansion of the surveillance state. Horrible.

I clicked on link, which opened my Apple Music, added, opened up Apple 4K, recently added and was there. I tried from iPad, iPhone and PC Amazon music, all worked. Glad, now I know how to get you guys recomendations when you provide links assuming available in Apple Music US.

I got to say I am so frustrated with this Apple TV 4k box, it's remote, and the UI. I can't figure out how to get where I want to go with the remote and the UI. I've been a avid computer user for 25 years and a Linux user for over 20. This is the most UN-intuitive package I've ever run into.

Apple's UI design philosophy for a while has seemed to be "don't show what to do, make people poke and swipe and drag around until they figure it out". The remote design seems to be similar (although the newest one is a little better).

I've had the best success just taking any old DVD player remote, etc. and use the AppleTV feature where you teach it to respond to another remote.

Had a brief situation with my new Apple TV 4K this morning; kept saying I wasn't connected to the internet.

So I rebooted my DSL router and checked the cables/switch etc. (seemed all OK, but still gave me the message.)

Had to finally select to restart the ATV4K box from the settings menu and it came back.

I had shut it off during the night, anyone else seen this type of activity?

Not sure which brand TV you’re using but my LG remote works with the ATV 4K. I don’t use it other than to mute the sound every once in a while cause I’m pretty used to the original remote from when I first got an ATV.

My two Android TV's are squirrely like that too. Every once in a while, I have to do a hard reboot. Sometimes it's just because it won't connect to an app. Modern technology!
