some clarity in nomenclature on the part of the marketing department would be welcome.
Yes it would. Pretty obvious it is a poor way to market this.

Me too, I won’t be streaming and I certainly won’t be downloading files. I want the physical product in my hand, something that I own, something that I can pick up and put down when I feel like it, I guess i’m not happy at the future of surroundApparently Amazon UK's price for the deluxe set is £129.99 lol...no thanks, no Blu-ray no purchase. Saves me money and shelf space and no, I won't be subscribing to a streaming service, no matter how many folk tell me it's the 'future' and the only way to go. If this is the future then I'm done, they can stuff it.
"Taxman" is on Tidal already.I'd assume atmos will be exclusive to Apple for x months. Petty was exclusive to Amazon for 6 months if I recall.
I don't see how they can legitimately claim that the Atmos mix is included if the only way you can get it is by streaming. Does Apple (records) have it's own streaming service? The Digital release mirrors the 5 CD release (63 tracks) or the album itself (14 tracks). This iteration will be able to be purchased from sites like Qobuz or HDtracks in hi-res (24/96) or lower bitrate. The Atmos mix, sadly, is not part of this downloadable content, it's only going to be available through streaming.
Wouldn't that be a MF?!I don't see how they can legitimately claim that the Atmos mix is included if the only way you can get it is by streaming. Does Apple (records) have it's own streaming service?
