I got that same initial response gene, my guess would be they received your request and are processing it we may not get a confirmation that it’s been sent out I think the only reason I got a response was I forgot my phone number for customs and stating I’ll receive it and 4- 5 days

I'd say don't fret. My experience is similar: I sent them a query with my deets (sans digits), they answered on Monday with the standard line about how they'd get a replacement disc in the mail within 4-5 days if I would also provide my phone number for customs purposes, I immediately obliged, and then radio silence--until 5 minutes ago, when I received a shipping notice from FedEx that a package was on its way from "UMG Supply Chain" in London and had already been received at their facility in Felton, Michigan, with an expected delivery date of tomorrow.
I bought the box when it was originally released. When the replacement program was offered, I contacted UMG right away. I got the same automated response that you did. I sent them the information that they asked for. I received no response to that correspondence, but the replacement blu-ray arrived about two weeks later.
Hopefully this will be enough to persuade Gos to come off of the ledge of the skyscraper....I'd hate to lose another friend over a missing email:whistle:

Well I'll be dipped in shit. I just got a text from Fedex.....punched that tracking number into their site and it says UMG Supply Chain! Yippee.... :hi :LB

Well, shit. Now I'M on the ledge!

Not really. Having followed the same course of action as all of you I'm not worried. But then again, it was earlier in this thread I believe where I said if all of you jumped off a bridge...

I emailed again yesterday, still no response back at all. Not sure why you all got responses, but I'm not.
I didn't receive anything other than the automated response. I just resent my original email asking for any info

Well, I just checked and I have a Fed Ex package that is stuck in Feltham GB.
No mention of the senders address but I'm very hopeful that it is my replacement disc.
This info is listed- TOTAL SHIPMENT WEIGHT1.1 lbs / 0.5 kgs.
Anyone know if this could be what I'm hoping for?
1.1 lbs seems a little heavy for one disc unless it's packed extremely well.

Sorry but Gos is the designated USFWE(UNITED STATES FORUM WEIGHT EXAMINER)...and he's not online now...but I'm sure he could help...ya know he was a math prodigy....don't let things like "dipped in shit" fool you....he is a very modest guy

That is for sure the Elton replacement disc. Based on the weight you showed, it matches mine identically. Since I have an account with Fedex, it tells me who is shipping it. When I log out, then track it....it doesn't tell me that info.

Huh--yeah, Feltham is for sure in the UK. Not sure why my FedEx notice placed it in Michigan! Well, I probably shouldn't expect delivery tomorrow in California, then, contrary to their assurances. Still: I just used the tracking number to discover that the package has moved on from Feltham to Stansted Airport, outside London. So...definitely in transit!

If you are using USPS Informed Delivery they don't always have specific information initially...especially in cases where the Postal Service isn't the first delivery agent.

UPDATE....you mentioned Fed Ex....not USPS

I had some similar from the US to the UK weightwise. I think they are showing the maximum weight for the postage/courier fee charged, so it is likely only 200-300 grams.

Amazing...a guy with 13 posts...what stones...I'm...I'm dazed and confused...is he a villain.OR he will fit in here just fine
Hopefully I'll fit in!
Only 13 posts because I'm certainly no expert, but I'm continuing to learn a LOT from all the knowledgeable folks here.
This entire group is by far the most enjoyable that I've ever been associated with.
