Good to hear. Yeah, thought it sounded a bit weird in the trailer.

So far, I'm on Episode 7 and so far, so good. A lot of 'critics' say the series lacked 'focus' and could've been a great two hour movie but what do the critics know? A fascinating journey into the lives of the sordid rich!

Cannot wait for a Season two of Shonda Rhimes' BRIDGERTON. Shonda is ON A ROLL!

WOW .... finished watching all 9 episodes and yes, it could have been whittled down to 7 or 8 episodes but patience will definitey reward the viewer with an amazing tale of Greed, envy and retribution.

The cast is uniformly SUPERB, the locations exotic and the lessons learned indelible.

HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Whew. Just finished watching Sidney Lumet's 1981 film PRINCE OF THE CITY remastered by Warner Archives. IMO, a great transfer and the dual mono soundtrack is likewise effective.

Quite an indictment of the NYC Police Department and a harrowing experience for the protagonist Detective Danny Ciello admirably portrayed by Treat Williams. Although I consider SERPICO a better film, I can highly recommend POTC for those who have never experienced it.

I watched this recently too and it's a goodie. Treat was excellent and it's a great companion piece to Serpico. Lumet sure made some excellent flicks. I think I own more flicks that he's directed than any other director which I guess makes him my favourite director which kind of snuck up on me. I've also watched this early one of his recently too: THE DEADLY AFFAIR - BD Well worth a look too. Solid in all respects.

Ironically, TREAT was overlooked in the BEST ACTOR category at that year's Academy Awards but the screenplay was nominated. Go Figure!
