IMO, a vastly underrated flick. All the negativity at the time of its release was based on it's bloated budget and problematic shoot due to weather related issues and sets being destroyed as a result. I have the original Universal Native UHD4K release and according to reviews, the ARROW is a bit better and does contain 3 cuts, two of which are on the included 2 BD~V discs [NOT 4K].

To be honest, PM, I haven't watched my version yet but just purchased Arrow's new UHD4K remaster of MALLRATS from Deep Discount ..... cheaper than Amazon with their new 15% off coupon which BTW, expires tomorrow!

My pickups. Plan on going back on the 11th for Scorsese’s After Hours. Might upgrade my Dazed and Confused… not 100% sold on that yet.
As the bluray.com review aptly stated: Cronenberg, JR tried to turn a 30 minute concept into an almost 2 hour movie. Definitely worth a look especially streamed in 4K on HULU but IMO, hardly worth a purchase. And yes, although MUCH sexier than Shelley Duvall, who I understand was difficult, at best, to work with, Mia Goth is quite the capable actress as she proved in X and Pearl and now Infinity Pool.
