I’m a bit sad that it appears that the visuals included on the DVD-A won’t be making the jump to the Blu-ray. They were great and really complimented the mix.
EDIT: I was wrong! According to the listing on the Lips’ site, the visualizer is included! Woo to the mf’ing hoo!
But the new Atmos mix is fantastic, better than the already great 5.1 mix. Really looking forward to getting this one on disc.

I've noticed that Amazon Canada is stocking more of these Blu-Ray pre-orders than they used to, and often at better prices than the US.

Seems people have only had good things to say about the Atmos mix on the forum here. I don't have Apple music so I can't say, but I trust QQ'ers to know what's up.

I just gave another listen to the lossy Atmos streamer. Not bad. Whoever mixed the streamer did right by it, I think. I could not crank it at the time, having my little dogs sleeping in the room after a rambunctious day and finally quiet.
I do have the DVDA, have not listened to it in a long time.

I didn't know Atmos had music coming from underneath! I must have my system set up wrong...
I hope the bleep blop animations play with the Atmos mix and not just the 5.1 mix. I've always enjoyed those. So much so that I'd listen to the lossy DD mix so I could see them over the lossless MLP mix. TBH I'm not a big believer that lossy sounds significantly worse (or at all) given enough bitrate.

Yes you can buy downfiring modules that attach under your front wide speakers and reflect off the floor - I’ve got a 7.4.6.4 Atmos system built just for this release.
Lossy can definitely be transparent, but I’ve found 448 Kbps 5.1 Dolby Digital ain’t it.
