What an absolute joke Amazon.ca are.
I pre-ordered this ages ago. It’s been in stock at Amazon since last Friday and still is showing as in stock but I just got an email saying the estimated delivery date will be sometime between November 15 - December 15!!!
Er hello, it’s in stock so go and get one off the shelf and send it you muppets! Honestly.

Oh and I can guarantee that when it finally gets delivered it will be thrown up 3 stairs and a photo will be taken and sent to me. Then it’s up to luck that nobody steals it. They never knock on the door or put anything in the mailbox. It drives me nuts.

I pre ordered as well. I usually have the same issue you are having but this one actually shipped and arrived on release day.

I find that usually if you order it again they send it out immediately, which is weird I know but it usually works.

I wish I could listen to this disc with my TV off. Very annoying visuals, but if I turn my TV off, the audio briefly cuts out every 10 seconds or so.

Agree, the visuals are god-awful and in some cases should have come with an epilepsy warning. I can't believe someone signed off on those. Thankfully I rip all my Blu-rays and just listen to the audio tracks anyway.

Then I’d have to pay for shipping. I pre-ordered it along with DG’s Luck and Strange blu-ray.

It’s just them being awkward for awkward’s sake. If someone preorders something they want it to be reserved for them and therefore sent to them without having to wait for ages, that’s the whole point or preordering something. So stupid.

One reason could be that the seller is not Amazon itself but another independent seller without stock.

My pre-order of KC-Red was cancelled by Amazon-Spain, on delivery date, because there was no stock, their mail said. I ordered again immediately, the same item, now showing seller as "amazon-uk", and it is on its way delivering to spain in a week.

To me, the visualizer is an essential part of the album. I can’t imagine listening to it without it.

But I agree that you should have the option to turn them off if you want to.

Just for reference, I pre-ordered mine on Septemer 17th and received it on October 31st. It is still the same price today ($20.43 CDN), and showing a delivery date for me of November 7th. Just order one, and cancel the pre-order when you get it. You mentioned that you will have to pay for shipping, so I assume you do not have Prime. Perhaps that has something to do with your experience, but just a guess.

I finally had a chance to have a listen yesterday and was blown away! Fantastic mix and I will post a review soon.

In any case, good luck with getting a copy soon, it will be worth the wait

I was on the fence with this one since I own the older DVDA, but after reading through the reviews I was convinced to double dip for the Atmos. It helps that the blu-ray is very reasonably priced - both Importcds and Amazon have it for right around $23 including shipping.

To me, the visualizer is an essential part of the album. I can’t imagine listening to it without it.

But I agree that you should have the option to turn them off if you want to.

Real question though, how do you even watch the last song? The strobing blue and red is extremely unpleasant. I don't think that is just me.

I should have had mine delivered this morning but good old Royal Mail sailed past me in the night and took it to Fishguard, 55 miles too far West, hopefully they will sort it out and I'll get it tomorrow.

And the saga continues, last night the package sailed past me on the motorway yet again in the opposite direction to Swansea, so I didn't get it this morning. tracking, which will not stay in the app, I have to keep putting the tracking number in, says it will be sent to my local office, I'm hoping overnight and that I'll get it tomorrow, who knows where it might end up though?

I didn't care much for the visuals, would have preferred just simply the album cover and track info. My Sony Bluray display does cover some of it up, but I found myself just turning off the display completely (Samsung TV with that option).

I will need to find a shortcut on my Samsung remote for this feature, going through the menu is a PITA. For this disc along with Human's Lib from Howard Jones. Great album, but the visuals were, well...Karaoke'ish.

Just got mine in the mail today. I had already listened on Apple Music so I knew what to expect overall. Still, I was hoping for some tweaks. For example, the bass drops in the 5.1 version of the title track (Part 1) are missing or extremely quiet in the Atmos version. I thought the Apple Music compression might be the culprit, but no. Clearly there on the BD 5.1 and clearly not in the Atmos. Glad to have both versions on the same disc, though.
