I thought the 5.1 on this one was mastered by Bob Ludwig.. though I realise for some that may be no better or worse than the prospect of Bill Inglot..

Yea, if I hear anything good said about it other than it's got surround sound, I may go ahead with a purchase.
Every release there is somebody that has something they don't like...if I listened to all that noise I'd never end up buying anything...
Amazon UK said mine shipped today. First time I've ever seen them give me a tracking # for overseas delivery. They say it will be here on the 17th. After a decade of sitting in the vaults, I guess I can wait another two weeks (but the wait will be killing me when I see y'all posting your reviews! :howl ) It came to $61.18 including shipping. I figured no American e-tailer would beat that price so it justified the wait for me. Oddly enough, I had placed a separate order for the Simple Minds Blu-ray, they said it shipped today also but the delivery date on that is 12/24. No tracking # with that one. I know their delivery estimates can often be way off, but I found it amusing that two items shipped on the same day had delivery dates that were a week apart.
Yeah I also have a tracking # with my "Tusk" order from amazon.co.uk, which makes me really happy as I'll now know which day to expect it based on tracking updates. "Idlewild South" is still preparing for dispatch, so it looks like they definitely are not shipping those together for me.
I'm not so sure that tracking number is going to provide you very much in the way of following your item once it reaches the US...we will see..
I don't know.....it looked like it was actually some UPS international site. So if it's going UPS the entire way, they might be able to give us accurate, up to date tracking.
Amazon uses multiple carriers and I doubt the final delivery agent will be UPS...most likely the Postal Service..

Mine says shipping soon and will be arriving tomorrow by 8pm...I'm leery, Idlewild South shipped yesterday with the same release data and is in Atlanta just a hop, skip and jump away and should be here tomorrow. Perhaps Tusk will be coming by an Amazon supersonic drone or maybe they have finally perfected the Amazon transporter? Oh well, either way looking forward to both!

OH man....now I"m really getting fired up. YOu know, I bought this only for the 5.1 disc....and yeah...doesn't it come with vinyl? My buddy is going to loan me his Technics SL1200MK2 turntable..so I can see if getting a turntable is what I want to do....it's a super nice table. I can't wait.

And I realize half the fun is reliving all the fun THAT IS VINYL. I have so many fond memories of vinyl and it's been a very long time. I haven't had a table since maybe 1987 I think.
It was over 10 years away from LPs for me and in that time I'd honestly forgotten what a complete hassle it can be .. and is it the biggest gobbler of spare time you can find.. you WILL lose entire days of your life to it without even knowing it.. but along with the ceremony of it all (clean the record, clean the stylus, cue up the record.. light up a pipe, put on your slipppers and silk smoking jacket, pour yourself a drink.. and.. enjoy.. for about 15-odd minutes.. and then get up, flip it over and do it all over again..) there is something very unscientifically satisfyingly warm and comforting about the faint crackle (and the odd tick and the wow and flutter and the inner groove distortion and the surface noise and all the other - numerous - imperfections of the format..!) that bring a big smug grin to your face in a way no other music delivery medium quite can.. and then there's the artwork (which I know our good Mr. Eastwood has a penchant for..
