That's true. When Gwen told me that I responded, "well, does that mean they're never going to be printed again or is there a chance that they will?" She couldn't answer that. I just really want to find someone that can.
I completely understand where you are coming from and I agree - it would be nice to know definitively that it's over. The other thing we can do is monitor ElusiveDisc, for example (http://www.elusivedisc.com/prodinfo.asp?number=VIRSAMINBOX3), and see if they ever get additional information about availability or even receive stock.
If that's the case, you would think they'd want to post them for sale online and make serious dough. I guess it's further proof that so few were made - you cannot find them anywhere. This could also point to the extremely low demand of SACDs and extremely low interest by the record companies to produce them.
Who knows for sure, I'm certainly not saying there are thousands sitting around out there. In this case, we could watch eBay and see what pops up, but how long and how much time are we willing to invest sitting around instead of enjoying what we can get our hands on? Everyone's answer is different.
I can't wait to see what happens with the live box set they're currently working on. I bet there's a good chance those won't even be formatted for SACD.
LOL, my head aches just thinking about it! @:
