ISO: Who's Next SDE-exclusive Blu-Ray (Preorder)

So, back when the SDE-exclusive Who's Next standalone Blu-Ray was announced in November (I think?), I lost track of the ordering window and missed out on getting my preorder in. My bad, of course, and at first I was OK with not adding this to my collection, as I already own (and love) the big box. However, as a Who freak, I'm really bummed about not being able to hear the exclusive instrumental mixes that are going to be included on that disc.

With that in mind, I'm reaching out to anyone here at QQ who bought multiple copies of the standalone to see if there might be anyone who would be interested in selling me a copy when they arrive. Ideally, I'd like to pay whatever it originally cost + shipping, but I do realize that these discs will likely be selling at a premium on eBay (boo!), so I'm willing to sweeten the deal either with additional $$ or a trade. That said, I'm not going to pay exorbitant prices for this disc, most of which I already own, so I'm relying on the generosity of QQ members to hopefully hook me up with a copy. Just figured I'd be upfront and honest with my terms here...

Anyway, if there's anyone who might be willing to work something out, please send me a DM. I know it's a long shot, but I figured I'd ask in advance!

they almost always have some more to order the week of release so you should be able to get a copy still from SDE.

Example right now you can get Elton John's release that was sold out as it's being sent out this week.

Yes, I did add myself on the notification list! I just wasn't sure how often they actually have additional copies available for high profile titles like this.

Now, I need to decide if I want to snag that EJ release!

I only like the 70’s era of EJ. I hesitated on Diamonds during the preorder period but was able to secure a release by being on the notification list. I figured, there was enough 70’s music on it to justify getting it.

I could be wrong but I think I have seen additional copies for almost all the releases except for maybe the really small batch releases but I would think The Who would be one of the bigger release.

Of course, if anyone wants to take me up on my original offer, I'm still game, especially after reading up on the thread about people getting their credit card info stolen when trying to preorder the Who's Next disc. Doesn't fill me with confidence about ordering direct from SDE, even though I've had no issues in the past...

Word of caution with the "additional copies notification list": if it's just one or two copies they've gotten back on returns or found in the back or whatever? They can go VERY fast. I don't remember which title it was (Brian Eno I think) but I got an email notification, clicked on it within seconds of receiving the notification, put the copy in my cart, but by the time I went to checkout (I went back to add another title of something) it was out of stock.

Apparently you're competing with others who get the same 'blast' email for who can snatch it up the quickest and it even being in your cart doesn't reserve the copy for you.

Apparently, I missed this morning’s brief restocking of the Who’s Next Blu Ray. Oh well, guess I’m not destined to get a copy.
At any rate, I’m still kinda wary after all the reports of credit card hacking when ordering through the SDE site…
