While you wait: a new documentary, Daytime Revolution, about the week in 1972 that John & Yoko took over the Mike Douglas show, is out in theaters. (Hoping it eventually comes to streaming.) Sounds truly fascinating. Another one of those moments, like Belafonte's week in 1968 behind the desk of the Tonight Show, that I had absolutely no prior consciousness of. With Chuck Berry, Bobby Seale, Jerry Rubin, and Ralph Nader, among others.
