Hey @edisonbaggins, any chance of a (p)review for the next Quadio batch? Are you allowed to put out a review before release day, or are you embargoed? I'm especially interested in whether or not Toulouse Street is different at all to the one in the box set (aside from packaging).

I’m not sure there’s a hard and fast rule. I have asked about Rhino’s wishes in the past and on or after release day seemed to be the gist.
I am in a doctoral college program with very little time to listen to music for review, these days.
Mainly study music on Spotify, these days.
So, I highly doubt I’ll have any tasty info for anyone, sooner than several days from now.
I only posted the pic on FB because I thought the album titles were already confirmed here. Admittedly, I skimmed the thread in question. Hope I didn’t steal anybody’s thunder.
Anyway, Batch #6 is hella cool, IMO.

Then I especially appreciate that you're still using some of your spare time for this. I've based several of my purchases upon your reviews alone and so far I've never been disappointed!

This quarter cellular physiology, skeletal anatomy, spinal anatomy, systemic and histologic anatomy, corresponding labs for each, plus four softer classes including history and philosophy.
It’s insane for this old man’s brain! Most of my classmates are in their early to late 20’s!

Yeah, FR did post the names of the 4 titles several days ago, though I don't recall which day. Good luck with your doctoral program.

Mike, what field are you getting your degree in? I maxed out my GI Bill benefits to get my premed requirements and go to med school. Unlike you, however, I was a single guy with no kids!

I have half a mind (har har) to try to find a local audio engineering school instead!
Mono through Atmos! Mixes done the way we surround nuts really want! 🤪
I went to one: Pyramind in SF. At that time, they were in their old location on Folsom Street, with a single-plane multichannel mix room configurable for 5.1, 7.1, SDDS, and more through a Meyer Sound Galileo system. Unfortunately, when they moved, they sold that system. I'm not sure if they're offering multichannel mixing courses anymore.

We’ll see if I can pass all these courses!
I’m studying to be a doctor of chiropractic, DC.
Mainly from combat, I have extensive damage to my back. Our spines house our central nervous systems, plus enable our motion, posture, and much more. Any issues with them can profoundly impact our lives.
One resource the VA has made available to me is chiropractic care. It has tremendously benefitted my life. Recently, I began making changes to my life to lean harder and deeper into my true values, a significant one being helping others directly. I thought it would be cool to help other traumatized vets. I first looked into social work, as social workers have literally saved my life, but I realized that my patients’ stories might trigger me, and patients need their helpers’ full professional presence.
Once I thought of chiropractic, it resonated, and I was able to apply to a local, well reputed school.
So, here I am!

In surround music news, I’m looking forward to digging into the new Quadios tomorrow.

Can anyone give me a heads up about release day? I’m planning to feature Quadio batch #6 on LiS YouTube, of course.
