Golden Earring - Cut

This album restored them to the charts in 82/83. Other than Twilight Zone I find the material kind of weak, and the sound (taken from analog tapes rather than digital masters) isn’t that impressive. Not a bad album, at all, just underwhelming.
The Cut Sessions with earlier versions is good.
Hi Rang
their early stuff is so creative and wonderful but I tend to agree that as they got a bit older the creative juices had dried up

Missing Persons - Rhyme & Reason

Starts out slow but gets better as it goes. Some tracks synth heavy with fake sounding drums (it was 1984, right?).
Not their best but still a decent album.
Another nice release from Rubellan.

I started this thread, (not Bossfan) post #4, some kind of screwup I was told.
Anyway don't want to bitch on Christmas Day, Baby Jesus needs me to be better.
I watched the movie, Killers Of The Flower Moon, really great movie, very thought provoking.
Anyway I started #4 with Robbie Robertson, solo, and the soundtrack for the movie was done by him. Very good CD on it's own
His last, unless the family at some time releases, unreleased recordings?
Since that first post #4, I now have all of Robbie's solo discs, I love his Native American flavor to his recordings.
This new CD has two tracks that he sings on.
In the closing credits of movie there is a line, In Memory of Robbie Robertson.
Another tid bit for you Blues cats, Charlie Musslewhite has a non siging/non harmonica bit part in the movie.
The muscian credits in soundtrack I do not recognize except Robbie and Bass, Pino Palladino.
