How is the Fidelity on this Japanese release comrade? The US CD sounds horribly squashed.
I got a nice French vinyl pressing and it's very good.

Not sure what to think of Tangerine Dream. This album for example is OK but don’t think it bears repeated listening. Same thing with the old Rubycon SACD

I have a sealed copy of the Hades box set, starting to wonder if I should sell it

One Tangerine Dream CD that holds up well is Stratosfear. Give it try.

Rubycon and Force Majeure are 2 fine Tangerine Dream albums. If you feel they don't induce repeated listening, then I think you should really consider selling your Hades box set.
