It is definitely interesting, there are some songs where Neil's vocal is "omnipresent" in the room (at equal volume in the front & rear speakers, but conspicuously absent from the sides?). Not hearing much height activity on my system, but I agree the sound quality is generally good.
Can confirm next to nothing in the heights, but a good sounding 7.1 mix it is.

I must confess I am a surround fan 1st & foremost. A great Atmos mix with plenty in the Height speakers is preferred but I also love a great quad, 5.1, 7.1 surround mix over stereo mixes. That doesn’t mean I don’t like stereo mixes either.

This one is on Tidal now... looking forward to checking it out!

Glad this finally showed up on Tidal! Great album and killer surround mix! Love it!

Albums like this are both why I’m a surround fan and appreciate the streaming services. I wish this would also get a physical release because I’d buy it in a heartbeat, but if it weren’t streaming I don’t know if I’d ever find out about it/bother with it.

Yet another new surround format.

Do I need a nuclear AVR to play it?

The second half of the track “New York, 1969” is an abbreviated version of the “Raider’s Theme.”
John Williams geek moment... it's called the Raiders March! 🤓 Also, side note, it's the first section of the end titles for the film. Which I've seen twice.

Also, Helena's theme is wonderful and there are several statements of a certain classic theme (I won't name it due to spoilers). Early opinion is that this is another excellent Indy score from the Maestro.
