i posted a few preview tracks from Leon Bridges new LP here at QQ recently and now here's the complete album. it's totally delightful, even more so in Atmos, naturally
singer/songwriter Jake Minch with some decidedly lo-fi compositions that make inventive use of Atmos' potential
on more than one occasion, i noticed a song was basically mixed in just Quad/4-channel, with just the Front L&R and Rear L&R only, only then to open out or change into a mix with Atmos Heights and/or Sides! well, that's one way to keep us on our toes, right!
a slew of Surround-y sumptuousness from Brooklyn Rockers A Place To Bury Strangers,Hazlett,Henry Moodie, Scottish songstress Nina Nesbitt and Canadian Folk singer/Songwriter Leif Vollebekk
very unusual and at times bizarre Surround soundscape on this trippy Electronic marvel from Dutch duo Weval from 2023 that really takes some liberties with what you can do with Atmos
umm.. feels like another sorta shameless cash-in on the back of the shows to me rather than anything worthwhile from an Atmos p.o.v. but still, it's Oasis --- knoworrayemeen, our lad ehhh..!! :
