IMHO: "Dig" is a sleeper you gotta have...take your pick from the R.E.M. recordings...then hurry over to the Greg Penny/Elton John recordings...have fun :sun

Marvin Gaye Collection(SACD)

Me too! I have Let's Get It On looped. One of my all time favorite songs. The beginning 3 chord intro with cymbal strike grabs me and then the sensuality of the songs holds me. At this point in my life I drift to thinking of a woman that I can't get but this song really makes me want her. Someday I will attempt to woo her and this will be the song I use. How can you not get laid playing this for a woman!?!?

I recently took the 5.1 96kHz tracks from my Genesis DVD-As to make up the identical track listing from their 3 disc "Platinum Collection" release (that was never released in surround) (all 40 tracks except "Paperlate" which came from an EP version not on the Genesis box set releases).

I'm doing the same for Talking Heads now to recreate their Once In a Lifetime (Best of) set from my DVD-As (I'm listening to that as I go)

I would love to get a copy of that. I am not a huge fan of TH but they have enough hits I know to make your compilation a great surround disc

I know this doesn't really count, but my Pandora with my Dolby PLII with pseudosurround sounds really good. I have recently heard Pat Benatar--We Belong; Roxette--Listen To Your Heart; and Eric Clapton--Wonderful Tonight (Fromthe 24 Nights live disc)and they have all sounded really good. I only recently discovered tnis setting for fake surround on my receiver (thanks to this forum)and am loving it. I am not sure how much this would vary by receiver, but it sounds great on mine.

Blrac what receiver do you have? i love using that setting or DTS Neo 6 whenever i am 'forced' to listen to something not multi chnl!

Don't forget the Surround SACD and DVD-A of Let's Get It On! Superb! (y)
