Another vote for the 5.1 version of Young Americans here - it's been a favourite of mine over the last 6 months or so and it really makes me wish Luther's 'Never Too Much' album was remixed for 5.1. The stereo SACD is good, but there's so much ear candy on that album just crying out to be spread around the surround soundfield.

Currently listening to Moondance.

I was watching an episode of the Sopranos yesterday that used "Glad Tidings" at several points. It reminded me that I'm long overdue to give Moondance a spin. What a fabulous album and surround mix.

Agree...and oohh boy. So many surround titles I need to revisit....with my NEW DENON AVR-X4000!!!

Sorry...had to point that out. lmao

All about Music...all about everything. So, here is a picture I took in Maui a few years ago.....with the winter months...I miss the warm Island feel...

TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS - Damn The Torpedos (Blu-ray Audio)

Awesome....rocks!! Similar to the Bryan Adams disc....needs to just be played LOUD!

KEANE - Hopes and Fears (DVD-Audio)

I've had this disc for years and years. Always love it. So, here is my Keane story.
I'm guessing around 7-8 years ago (could be longer)....I had my then 16 year old boy out to buy some clothes. We were in a very, very popular US store for teens called Abercrombie and Fitch. Annoyed at the high prices and younger generation...I was sort of zoning out. Over their store speakers, was playing a song that sort of griped me like no other. I had never heard it....nor did I have a clue who it was.

I liked it so much that I went to the store manager and asked what was playing over the speakers. He said it was a little known band called Keane...and the song was "This is the Last time"

From that point forward, I was smitten with their sound and then subsequently found this disc on Amazon.

OK gang....still jamming to Keane. Current song is "Everybody's Changing" I tell you, this song just rocks....amazing musicianship. It soars in 5.1.....

PORCUPINE TREE - In Absentia (DVD-Audio)

I received this "copy" of this disc from a good man from HDJ (High Def Junkies)....forever grateful to him.
