Genesis - Three Sides Live - some clunkers but In the Cage is great. Some of the between song interviews are really good as well. Genesis is a great live band, great studio band, great series of bands... this is from 1981.
Nick Davis' mix seems to me a bit warmer and better overall than any of the albums 5.1 he did for the 2007 box set. Apples and oranges but this seems more on point.

Donald Fagen - The Nightfly. One of Petey's favourites and, not so coincidently, also one of mine (y)

They really cook on this album. Just checking, Dark Side of the Mule, this is a CD not a surround sound disc right?

There's a couple versions of the release....the 3 cd set also includes a dvd with the entire concert in usual live surround configuration (dvd-v and dolby only). They do however include some music and effects during the Pink Floyd set...

Nilsson Schmillson on quad reel, having just finished Gilbert O'Sullivan I'm A Writer Not A Fighter.

Elton John - s/t - SACD

I'm absolutely blown away by the Surround mix! Wow! Those Elton John SACDs are so much fun!
