It does not look legit to me at all. Anyone have proof that these titles are actually licensed from the publishers/artists/labels?

Jon, I don't promulgate PIRACY in any way, shape or form. ALL the music and movies I owned are legitimately obtained. If HDTT was operating under the radar of the major conglomerates, it has been doing so for the past 8 or so years when they started their operation. Wouldn't one think by now they'd be shut down as they're releasing music from Universal, Sony, etc. and even offering high quality DSD/FLAC downloads, etc.?

Love it too Gene, play it quite a fair bit.. but.. have you got the 30th Anniversary DVD-V set with the 5.1 remix of the Fly Like An Eagle album too?
Some of the tracks are very well mixed on the newer 5.1 set I reckon (and despite/inspite of the Dolby Digital encoding, I prefer the sound they got by going back to the multitrack masters over the Quad in some instances imho.. try it thru Foobar maybe and see how they compare to you? :p )

No, I don't have that one...guess I didn't even know about it. :(

I notice they've got the two David Elias albums in 5.1 DSD download form too.. one could contact that artist and enquire as to whether he has sanctioned it maybe?

Yes - 90125 - SpecWeb Upmix from 24x96 HDtracks... This is friggin AMAZING! This album really sounds discrete through SpecWeb and the sonics are fantastic... Highly recommended for trying this software out(y)

Nice! Would you recommend default SpecWeb settings?

A good task for AB! Wouldn't one think that a minor artist like Elias would be aware if his musical output was being 'compromised?' BTW, AB, do you have the two Bowie Stereo SACDs Scary Monsters and Super Creeps and Let's Dance? Spun them last night at full throttle and they sounded damn nice (and decode exceptionally well in Prologic II). Boy, do I miss that MAN....already. What a prodigious talent!

Oh I'm not going to contact them or David Elias I'm upto my eyeballs - and I don't really care, my attitude has changed over the years... tbh I'm fed up with the stalemate we're in that means the only way to get some of this quad stuff out is to when people take to the high seas and turn to piracy. Ridiculous situation.

Yes I have those Bowie SACDs, won't be playing them anytime soon tho (number of reasons but mainly his death, too painful.

..and I hear Alan Rickman just died of cancer too, also aged just 69.. bloody hell.. :(

Gene, my version of Foobar looks nothing like yours (it was a free download and it's really bare bones, but I guess it does what I need)... did you purchase that? Are there multiple versions?

You can find it here (if Gene didn't send you the file already :)). Great skin with lots of possibilities to set to your own likings. (with special thanks to Mr. Lizardking who pointed me (us?) to this one!!)

I have eight of the AF Multichannel SACDs at the moment. I really enjoy them a lot but this one along with The Best Of The Doors are my favourites.

Adam, ALL the more reason to spin those Bowie Discs.......they're fabulous and celebrate his life admirably. Let's Dance, 'China Boy'.......

Tragic about Alan Rickman as well. And the classical community also lost premiere conductor extraordinaire Pierre Boulez last week but at least he lived to the ripe old age of 90!

No dear, it would just depress me.. I've already been on the verge of tears sat at home tonight staring into space just thinking about Bowie, playing him would not be a good move :(
