:) Yeah, and the "mood" presented in that concert is just amazing in my opinion. It's a vibe you rarely get in a recorded concert...

I am with you, it's just really great.

There is a problem - it makes all of my other concert discs sounds like crap. :)

The first if fizzywiggs41 is right about this :)

What's intriguing for this "sleuth minded"individual, is that the "Harvey" and "Rats" may exist in quad albums, ala Tonic For The Troops, Framed, and Rock Drill; tucked away in the "Mercury/Vertigo" tape vault.??

As was the case for the Jethro Tull, mixed in quad and only recently released;)

-ah, maybe one day.

Adventures In Paradise - Minnie Riperton

More criminally overlooked old music that just happens to have a Quad mix...

Quite an array of musicians assembled for this gorgeously funky record... Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, Jim Gordon, Jim Horn, Tom Scott.. maybe Audio Fidelity will choose to get this and Minnie's other Quad album out on Surround SACD, the Quad mixes are top tier and musically they are both delightful.

Thank you, Jan, I ordered it :) They are really fun to listen to, and SpecWeb do wonders with their music, and it has really great dynamics - very crankable. The bass on The Rythm Divine - are .. well divine :)

Edit: I found a cheap one on Ebay.

The Who, Quadrophenia, HFPA, BD-A 5.1 DTS HD Master. After 4 days of taking apart my machine adding 30K of new McIntosh equipment I couldn't be happier. I have been chasing audio Nirvana since I was 13 years old and I have finally reached the mountain top. I also use Ralphs disc goops and they are an added blessing. I also use Shunyata power conditioners and power cords along with a host Audioquest high end powered interconnects and speaker cables. I like going against the norm because I am a rebel. It's all fantastic and I am super happy. RBCD, SACD, DVD-A, DVD-V, BD-A, 24 bit download, ( believe it or not with all this crap I have I cannot play DSD download) BD-V, stereo, mono, surround in 4.0 or 5.1, I love it all. Sorry, no records or turntables for me, that got sold when I was 30 years old.
