"The Nice Price" LOL.
Back in the day, anyway!!!"The Nice Price" LOL.
Actually I was just reminded by someone that this title is "not" QS encoded (however the SMv2 does decode the stereo extremely well); I just got carried away with all the Michael White stuff!
I had only ever seen these stickers on early CDs. Never knew they started so much earlier on LPs!"The Nice Price" LOL.
I love this album, it's such a shame the surround DVD went OOP so quickly. Discogs only have two copies, both at silly prices, one over a hundred Canadian dollars (but won't ship to Canada), the other at CND$316. Would love to hear the surround mix.Miles Davis SKETCHES OF SPAIN [Columbia Records/Monster Music DTS 5.1 remix] Listened very critically early AM ...... Noel Lee, chief Monster, did an incredible remix from Columbia's original three track analogue masters....very informative booklet, as well.
Per Eric Johnson, the DVD Audio was mixed and published using the incorrect masters. Eric spent over a year to perfect this album. When it was released, he discovered the error and had them pulled from the shelves. There may be less than 2 thousand of these in circulation. Not a great surround mix...but glad we have it..... Note the original price label. Man......things have changed.
