Even though i have and greatly enjoy 2 Johnny Mathis digital discs (The Christmas Album and The First Time Ever [I Saw Your Face]), it wasn't until @GOS started spinning his pappy's LPs that it occurred to me to look for more Mathis in Quad LP. SO GLAD i found this one! Great music and mix!

That depends if you like Kris' laid back style. ALL four albums sound amazing with great discrete use of surrounds and the price cannot be beat!

Charles Gerhardt conducting the National Philharmonic Orchestra STAR WARS/CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND [RCA Red Seal/Vocalion/QUAD SACD] IMO, the entire Vocalion Charles Gerhardt QUAD SACD series remains unparalleled and Michael Dutton who had access to the Star Wars/Close Encounters multitracks remixed them and successfully remained true to all the previous RCA Red Seal actual QUAD remixes. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for content and for a job well done!

If you like Country it'll be for you, the mix & musicanship is fantastic, sadly apart from a couple of tracks it was too Country for me - but I could appreciate it
