I have a dedicated laptop, connected permanently to my network. From that, I use Foobar 2000 to play the audio. Fun times.....I have spent hundreds of hours ripping my music to flac, so I can do- that.Wish I knew how to rip blu ray audio and how to play them back.
I’ve just started, there is a guide in here somewhere, use MakeMKV to save the files you want to a usb stick or external drive, I am on holiday in Greece at the moment and don’t know off by heart but is fairly simple, apart from I cant split the files so get the whole album but for me thats not a big deal as I only listen to full albums anywayWish I knew how to rip blu ray audio and how to play them back.
And once you do get it figured out based on threads/advice here, please make sure you back up your files. I went through this process this year and ended up losing quite a lot of files in a brand new SSD drive failure.Wish I knew how to rip blu ray audio and how to play them back.
I hear that. I've experienced disasters in the past and now have two hard drives. And once you do get it figured out based on threads/advice here, please make sure you back up your files. I went through this process this year and ended up losing quite a lot of files in a brand new SSD drive failure.
Going through and ripping discs to build your digital library is fun. Doing it a second time is... less fun. One might even call it frustrating and anger inducing.
A lot to listen to there J-Pup.Albert Lee - TEARING IT UP (BD)
*one thing that's interesting with this title is that there are 5 different audio types which includes 5.1 DOLBY TrueHD from a "Stage" mix and also an "Audience" mix. As you'd expect the Audience mix has less discrete elements in the rears and more of an ambient rear feel. So I'll keep the ripped "Stage" mix at this point.
Also, on the rear cover - "DISC FEATURES" it states:
NO DYNAMIC PROCESSING / NO EQ / NO ARTIFICIAL REVERB
OK, but I do feel it sounds a little thick in the Bass and may need some EQ to tighten the Bass a smidge and perhaps take some out of the rears, anyone else? I took about 6dbs off the low end out of the REARS and that helped some. Since it is a live affair, I can easily understand all that though.
I am a sucker for some nice Pedal Steel.
Now if I can just find "BAD HAGGIS"

I pretty much disregarded the 48k Dulby filesA lot to listen to there J-Pup.
Albert always reminds me of Harpo Marx. Could have been a horn player instead of a guitarist.Albert Lee - TEARING IT UP (BD)
