Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Greendale, DVD-A 5.1 PCM 24/96. Dissapointed in the mix. Mostly front soundstage with Neils vocals center, that is good. Rear right carries Neil's guitar. The rear left is where I have problem as it is very weak, like out of balance. When either background vocals or harmonica come in then rear left is used very well. I just assume that's how they wanted it, I would have mixed different.

For some reason I thought this album to be an upmix. It's official?

Vivaldi - The Four Seasons, Concertos for Double Orchestra - David Juritz, London Mozart Players (DVDA, Naxos)
I'm by now means an expert of classical music, so I can't rate the performance (Lute are you out there?). But what I can tell you is that the surround mix, particularly for the Concertos for Double Orchestra is great, one orchestra in the fronts, the other in the rears.

The performance is great! Even in such a crowded field of 4 Seasons recordings, it can hold its own.
Defintiely a winner from Naxos. Enjoy! :upthumb

Early Romantic Horn Sonatas (SACD/Bluray)

Another beautiful recording from 2L. Immersive, wide soundstage. I love how the natural sounds of the historical "period" instruments are vividly recreated in your room. In particular, the horn's timbre is startlingly alive!

Donald Fagen - The Nightfly DVDA
One of the very best! I love the 50s-60s vibe of the music. Its executed absolutely flawless. Soundquality is detailled and rich and warm though it is one of the first digital recorded albums. And the surround mix is exceptional.

Junior Brown-Down Home Chrome as recommended here. Material is a mixed bag but excellent surround mix and you can really hear his patented "guit-steel" instrument.

Rattle That Lock Blu-Ray: I can't seem to stay away from it, gets better with each listen. Dancing Right In Front Of Me has been dancing in my mind the whole week. Lovely box set.
