Hey everyone! :)

I've just picked this one up at the Post Office and I absolutely love it. Nice mellow start to the weekend.

I thought I'd combine Thumb Porn with Power Amp Porn... ;)

I like this disc so much that I've played it three times in a row. It's a Home Run for me.

I did the same thing. I know it's not their greatest hits, but still very enjoyable music.

Enjoyable indeed. Not only a fine job by George Martin and Geoff Emerick, but also a supa fine mastering by Steve and Stephen. Thanks Marshall and crew for this one!

Sweet!

Reminds me of when we used to do McIntosh clinics at a dealer where I worked many years ago. All our regular customers would bring in their gear, we'd do minor repairs, clean the post & switches, then hook it up to our Sound Tech analyzer & big-ass dummy loads and fill in a spec sheet for them. I miss those days.

P.S. Based on what's been said about it here, I think I'm gonna have to break down and order that America disc, if it isn't already gone...

PROCOL HARUM, Symphonic in dolby surround.

PROCOL HARUM-BBC live in SQ matrix

-both surprisingly good concerts, the BBC SQ disc is a very good quad mix btw.A must for collectors and if it wasn't for a QQ member pointing out it was in quad, I'd never have known and never would have aquired it.

I think both these cds can still be found.:sun

Genesis - Selling England By The Pound Blu-ray: This disc went on a wild ride apparently as it was mis-delivered but finally got here today three weeks late, whew. I have the SACD and it sounds great but was curious about the blu and my first thought is wow talk about quick play it goes straight to the 2.0 PCM 24-bit/96 Khz in the blink of an eye. This is a fantastic album and speaking subjectively the blu seems somehow more pleasant than the SACD while first listening in DTS-HD MA. Could just be the time of day or humidity ;), in any case more spins are assured.

Yes "Time And A Word" SpecWeb Upmix from 24x192 HDtracks... All these years of listening to Yes, and I had never heard this album... Great album, pristine sound quality, and SpecWeb gives a very discrete-sounding surround experience! I can't believe I had ignored this one for so long... That's the wonderful thing about music: no matter how much you think you've heard, there's always something new to discover!
