The surround-mix on this one is really great.

My compliments to ji eff, very well done, both albums!

ahem... it's Lord ji eff ^_^

Thanks, Jan !! gotta admit even though I get a kick out of doing music, it's cool to know someone else out there likes it !

btw, if everything goes as planned, I'll probably be able to post a double CD album of classical music remixed in 5.1 right for the weekend.. fingers crossed !!

Hey Spock !

Did you ever get a chance to order Tacet's Vivaldi: The Four Seasons ?

If so, how do you like it? (music and mix)

Can't comment on the actual musical performance - I'm a classical music noob, when i read Le Quattro Stagioni - I think of my favourite Italian Pizza :)

But it sounds outstanding, the surround mix (I'm listening to the moving surround part of the disc) is fantastic, very active and discrete, panning and instruments moving around. Dynamics and sound quality are great. I think I have to get me more of these Tacet discs, especially those with moving surround parts.

Last night:
Yes
Fragile BD
(What a great freakin' mix!)

King Crimson
The Road To Red
disc 23(?)
"Providence"
wanted to go for "Voyage to the center of the Cosmos" but I was too tired...

Post birthday listening session. It's 7:30 AM and I'm enjoying a lazy morning with a nice piece of New York Style Cheesecake and fresh raspberries with this delightful Pentatone disc. I'm playing this at low volume not to bother my neighbours yet I am amazed by the dynamics on this recording.

¡Oooooooolé!!!!!

Too bad Paco de Lucía's version never made it to MCH...

Not my favourite musical style, but it sounds great, giving my system a real workout, the surround-mix is very good:
