1K Club - QQ Shooting Star
Jethro Tull - A Passion Play
I guess I should've specified that I increased the center channel +4db and my subs +6db :yikes in order to get it sounding pretty decent.
Now listening to: Steven Wilson - Hand.Cannot.Erase. Don't need to do any adjusting on that!
Nickel Creek - This Side - SACD 5.1
This is gorgeous and super-discrete. Musically, YMMV, but it definitely works for me and is very pleasant.
Available, for the time being, for peanuts (Amerzon).
Go grab it.

So I'm gonna put you down for a while..

maybe it's a good thing it'll probably never happen..

I compared the '25 or 6 to 4' on both II & IV and it seems to me to be the exact same.
'Saturday in the Park' also seems to be the exact same version. I'm pretty sure all of the greatest hits are the same version as the original album.
Were you listening to the SACD or the DVD-V?
Yes, the only difference between the album mixes and the mixes on IX is that some tracks (like "Make Me Smile") are single edits, but other than that, they should all be the same.
The SACD.
