FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!:D

The old quad mix of Echoes are more interesting than really good I think - lots of panning instruments (a 8 out of 10 for me).... But the new 5.1 mix I find wonderfull (10 out of 10)!

Ahhhhh! Killing me...maybe I'm being punished for canceling the damn thing..... :violin

Don't be silly. :)

You were merely being sensible. It is a lot of money to invest. If we'd been offered the originally announced set with all the 5.1 mixes that were supposed to be included, then many more would have purchased it. Many decided to wait for the individual releases so we could get the Multichannel mixes without having to purchase material we may not have been interested it.

No sh!t.

Don't get me wrong I love Pink Floyd but $400 smackers?
The bulk of the content was just not that compelling to me.

Patience Geno, the wait will be worth it plus think about all of the other cool music you can buy with the difference.

Yeah, I know. I do tend to be a bit spontaneous. Working on ripping my Elton John SACD's.....man they sound great. Geez.....

Hawkwind - Wilson mix (Warrior on the Edge of Time)

I know, I know. Something tells me many do not care for this. But for me - this is one of Wilson's shining moments. I mean, wow...Hawkwind?? Who but Steven could take something so difficult as this and mix into a great sounding event? I dunno. I think it's wonderful. The music is SO dense, loud and distorted and psychedelic. I think he did a wonderful job and maintained the vibe.

It's one of my favorites. Honestly, you really can crank this up and it takes you to another galaxy.... :)@:
