Thanks Fizzy... I live near the Mint and hit the Sunrise in the KP mall from time to time. Probably don't go as often as I should, they don't seem to carry formats that I like, and prices can be a bit high I found. But it pays to look around, I'll see if I can scare that one up...(y)

I go to both from time to time , notice they have Steve Hackett-Spectral, Don't Touch, and Defector at decent prices fwiw.

Also new a John Coltrane DVD and BD doc/music which I'll get, and weird it's on the UMG/IMPULSE............RHINO ????? Label.

Both locations.

Anyways I thought I'd give you a heads up.:)

Yes lots of overpriced items though(Pink Floyd sets), and lack of decent surround titles unfortunately.

Later today a rare surround SACD from MOFI

Cowboy Junkies-Whites Off Earth Now.

Thanks Clint E. got it figured out now. Somehow I missed the BD release. I didn't go for the box set as it was and still is DVD. I scoured Amazon US and no BD but as you showed me Amazon UK has the BD. Every once in awhile I notice some releases are easier or only on Amazon UK. I am thinking I was never aware of the BD release? Oh well I purchased for $19.99 US dollars, can't beat that.

I'll have to pay them another visit soon. Think last time I was there I bought my better half a Tom Jones BD concert. Not my cup of tea, but It's Not Unusual for her to play a little Tom...;)

I bought the Analogue Productions Wish You Were Here SACD ages ago. As I have the Immersion box I never bothered to play it.

I noticed it on the shelf and gave it a listen. The 5.1 mix seems fine, and nice to have as an alternative to the quadraphonic mix on the Blu-ray.

So there is 3 different surround mixes of WYWH?

That's a band I know nothing about....

Folk Rock band from......Ka-Nada.

Their 2nd album "Trinity Sessions" is a must own fwiw, and...........it's in surround (UHJ Ambisonics) !! ....And So is this first album fwiw, Gene.

Trinity put them on the music hit list, most famously "Sweet Jane" from the album and the Lou Reed cover that Lou stated "best version of the song he ever heard ".

Although, in DD 5.1....they , re-did Trinity a few years back with some super guest musicians such as Ryan Adams, Natalie Merchant , Vic Chestnut and Jeff Bird.
I very much like it for both the surround and super performance......recorded again, in the Trinity church live-but no audience in that small venue.

Tonite I'll listen to some of the "Grey " DVD from GENESIS

Last nite I played up all those xtraz from the Green Box Bonus disc.
Strange it says fr 1970 up to 75, but there is at least one tune from 1969. The 5.1 surrounding is sometimes lacking on at least one or 2 selections......but this Bonus is well worth having.
