Anthony Phillips - Field Day 5.1 (DVD-V, w/DTS)

If you're familiar with this album, this is a great way to listen to it. Not really a lot to make surround out of in the recording, but I find it a lot more enjoyable than listening to the CDs. A little over two hours of great acoustic guitar playing, on quite a variety of guitars.

for the Nth time..
SW
HCE
BD

It took me quite a while to understand why this was (slightly)higher in the polls than The Raven (although I still think TR is a masterpiece).. I sorta understand.. if there was a grower in SW's discography, this would be it...The Raven is a classic right off the bat...but THIS ONE.. ahh .. moving to another country and finding yourself all alone...let me tell you a story...

The Moody Blues - In Search Of The Lost Chord

Finally received this box set today via Amazon UK.

Perp, when you find that lost chord drop me a line .......

You'll LOVE the LOSSLESS Stereo version ..... hands down!

Duuude... I'm feeling that way about To the Bone too. As much as I hate to admit it...

I remember sitting in my sister's room (she had the only record player in the house) back in 1969, hearing Led Zeppelin for the first time. I'd never heard anything like it - loud, and raw, and just plain scary. I don't think I'll ever have another musical experience quite like that one, but it has been encouraging & fun to hear bands doing their part to raise the bar, to take heavy music another step forward through the years. Soundgarden was definitely one of those bands, in my opinion.

Steven Wilson - Home Invasion

Mixing in his earlier solo stuff plus the awesome Porcupine Tree songs makes his new shit so much more palatable to me. I have been fairly disappointed with 'To the Bone', until hearing the songs live, interspersed with the other great songs, and now I pretty much love his new songs, in this context. :SG

Edit: Anyone else notice that drummer Craig Blundell looks like he could be Alex Lifeson's little brother? :ROFLMAO:

I got this one yesterday, I think it's the best example of Atmos music I've heard so far, but I have adjusted my levels a bit so I'm now going to have to re-visit my other Atmos titles.
Booka Shade - Galvany Street Dolby Atmos Blu-ray

Been banging on about this release for a while now..great price, cool music and more importantly: the Atmos mix is superb.

This was delivered a short while ago ~ Be-Bop Deluxe - Sunburst Finish 5.1 DTS DVDV

The first Be-Bop Deluxe album got was Futurama I’ve got 5 of their albums on vinyl.
I also have 3 Doctor’s of Madness albums, who are in the tour brochure included in this release, and I saw them live, never did see Be-Bop live though:cautious:
