Spock
1K Club - QQ Shooting Star
Excellent album, I love it
Want "For The Roses" and "Court and Spark" in HD Surround
Hey Fizzy, cheer up mate, we're all rooting for ya here
sorry to hear that FW.. it can be a rough time of year in a way, hope the music lifts your spirits (and if not maybe raise a spirit or three on the rocks!) merry Christmas fizzy!
Surprisingly good, 5.1 and 7.1 are options and there’s a lot going on in the surrounds (for a BD-V). Joe’s a great player, but I can only take him in occasional doses. Can anyone confirm discretey goodness?
This little guy just defines Christmas for me.
(Been watching alot of Paul O'Grady's ....PogDogs , lately. Enjoy his Liverpudlian accent and shenanigans at Battersea)

"For The Love Of Quad"
(woofers at the ready!)
Court and Spark is an excellent album...I'm listening to the Hoffman mastered View attachment 37173Gold Cd now....vocals are beautiful....not sure how surround would work on this album...but if one was available...I'd be all over it
Shoeless Joe DTS CD
Another good sounding surround disc and pleasant music. Ok bass could have a little more presence...
Satriani - Live is a good DVD to have. It's only dolby 5.1 but it's really good sound wise. Also lots going on in surrounds. Mixed by the same guy who mixed Saturated in 7.1.Is it the only Satriani in surround? (didn't search, but I would love to hear The Extremist...)
Hopefully , Clint , you've had the opportunity to hear her quad version .
It's probably one of the best quad mixes on Asylum Records (well both her's are actually ).
Don't know who mixed em but they are fantastic .
We sure could use em in hirez , Blu-ray...........even dvd would be ok.
No I haven't heard the quad version...I like her voice
If anyone deserves a hi res box set, it's Joni Mitchell. Since a lingering illness has silenced this tour de force, it would be befitting if Rhino/Warner not only released her two QUADs [Court and Spark and The Hissing of Summer Lawns] but her peerless discography including the ultra magnificent BLUE [which was supposedly remixed into 5.1 for DVD~A release] and her early efforts as well, including her fabulous live Miles of Aisles.
Joni Mitchell: A true gift from our wonderful Canadian Neighbors!
