The story on this is poorly thought out(how do ETS with no fingers operate machinery) but the sound is INCREDIBLE!

How about mind control, telekinesis - or maybe, as they are aliens - in a way you can't possibly imagine!

Also... "The story really aggravates me. "
Its a very OLD story.

And hey, what's wrong with tentacles?

Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds (SACD)

Richard Burton in surround sound. What more could you ask for! :beer2

This is an amazing surround experience!

:51banana:

Just finished listening to it, first time all the way through, thanks for reminder Lute.

Helmet of Gnats Time Slip SACD: Screen shot 2015-09-12 at 3.57.04 PM.jpg In the past, I had sub problems with this one as it's a 5.0 disc. Still trying to figure it out but with the sub active and the AVR in Multichannel mode finally getting the nice low end. Enjoyable disc, thanks for the tip on the title fredblue.

For those who remember ALF.....

....there was an episode where Alf needed to make a phone call but didn't know the # so he called 411. He told the operator who he needed the listing for.

Operator: "Just a friendly reminder sir, that number is in the phone directory."
Alf (angrily): "Hey lady, I've got no thumbs!"
Operator (apologetically): "Oh, I'm sorry sir."
Alf (sarcastically): "Yeah, I'm sorry too."

:slap:

ALF was a Snood fave.........even have Alf doll in Snoodmobile

Those Alf dolls were amazingly realistic - they looked just like him!!

See, 'cause the real Alf was also, a... doll...

Heh heh.

Heh.

< tap tap > Is this thing on?

EDIT: JEEsus. I was just sitting here looking at this page when suddenly the little dancing bananas stopped in mid-swag and just stood there, motionless, staring right at me. I hate it when they do that! Okay, I get it, I'll put some pants on... Sheesh.

STOPTHAT.gif

EDIT EDIT: Okay, it's 2 hrs. later, I'm fully clothed, and they're still staring. WTF?! If you little yellow demons think you're getting any of this pizza, you got another think coming. (Snood, you think you could have a talk with your boys??)

The snare sound on this album is HORRENDOUS. Truly horrible. Real shame because the rest is brilliant.

You know, I was gonna give this a "9' in the Polls.. but when you factor in that special snare sound, well its got to be an "11".. Glad you're enjoying it :upthumb
