I ordered a week ago on Sunday and received it today. I listened to Dolby Atmos once.
The first impression is: it's more of a 5.1 mix than Atmos. In any case, there's not much going on in the upper speakers. The mix is pleasant, but not very bold. It's a shame, because if the mix was made by someone with Steven Wilson's imagination, it could have been much better. It reminds me a bit of 5.1 mixes of older Nightwish albums ("Once", "Dark Passion Play") - the main elements in the front, and some orchestration in the back, sometimes additional vocals, acoustic guitars, rarely some synthesizers or effects. It seems that something appears above your head very rarely. In general - the Atmos mix makes the whole thing very spacious.
I switched to the 5.1 mix (DTS-HD Master) a few times and even less could be heard from the back.
As someone mentioned earlier - the vocals can be heard more clearly than in the stereo mix - they are separated in the center channel. And the drums could be a bit louder.
I would rate this mix 6. It's not bad (I've heard much worse), but I expected something more.
Musically - the album is good, but it won't be my favorite Nightwish album.
Next time I listen, I'll turn up the volume on the rear and top speakers.
