He ended up buying a cheap Crosley turntable for some reason.yeah- Robert lived here for a couple years while he was dating Patty Griffin. He was pretty accessible then. Waterloo is a great, iconic store here in Austin....still love going in there.
I like this album very much. Elton thought enough of the title track to include it on his recent box set. I am searching daily for the elusive UK Mono version of this album.Haven’t listened to this in 25 years or more. I pulled it out today and cleaned it up and forgot how good this is. I don’t think it’s very well recorded but this was the first time I heard it on an upgraded system and it’s worth a listen. Only album I know of that gives you a preview of all the songs as a last track.

"Good" is a severe understatement.
"Mind blowing" is more apt
