I got a first gen Apple TV 4K from Best Buy for $129 with 6 months of Apple Music free. I paid more than that for just ONE of the Beatles box sets. Marry that up with all of the Atmos riches you get on Apple Music for $9.99 month and it’s the surround sound deal of the century!!

Agreed. I'm not an Apple guy. I got my first and only Apple device of my 73 years when I grabbed an Apple TV 4k box off ebay for $99 just so I could have access to all their Atmos music files. I still totally hate the UI and the goofy remote but I can easily live with that for all the multich files they stream for $11 a month. No other streamer comes close.

Completely their own thing. Some extra material was recorded just for the Atmos mixes, like additional acoustic guitars in “Panopticom.”

I just have to say that I'm not a fan of this wonky way of releasing a new album.
Just release the whole thing at once as has been done forever.

I don't have Atmos, just 5.1. The atmos mixes sound great down-mixed to 5.1.

Agreed - they fold down nicely. As with Steven Wilson's The Harmony Codex, I think the immersive presentation makes the music more 'alive' and compelling.

I'll stick to my Juno UK order which might be a few days behind but saves $5, but it appears Amazon Canada now shows a domestic (NA) listing which is CA$10 cheaper than the previous listing which is still $48.
