When you ordered this set weren't you aware of this but think of it this way, you are probably the first in your neighborhood with THOSE coasters:banana: just saying, stay positive. I feel your pain as I've bought these deluxe sets to just get the surround mix several times.

I preordered it the first day so the standalone wasn't an option yet. I thought that they wouldn't release the 5.1 by itself so I got the cheapest set that came with it.

If the DVD turns out to be a dud, I'll store the set away and drown my sorrows with A Passion Play. Its all good. :)

I may still do the shirt though, just for laughs.

I ordered it today, $18.98 with shipping. Hoping it'll be with DTS, and maybe by some miracle it'll be DVD-A. Who knows?

I was told by the Pink Floyd Store that it was a DVD audio only, no Video, and it's being advertised as 5.1, but that's the extent of the information I could get and I have tried a couple of times. I wouldn't be surprised to see another delay so I'm going to hold off my order until the new release date gets closer.

The one thing I can't understand is the Pink Floyd store knows the DVD isn't going to be available on July 1st, they have told me of the delay. I just don't know why they don't change the date on the pre-order section of their site. Seems like they are making it easier for people to complain. People that don't frequent forums like this one would have no idea it was going to be delayed. They are setting themselves up for additional grief. Of course I have this theory that it will be longer than I was told so maybe changing the date wouldn't be a great idea. Maybe something like coming soon would be better.

Here comes the first review : http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/dvds-...ell-20th-anniversary-5.1-surround-mix-bl.html

Don't know really what to think yet, as there are some comments a bit worrying like the scarce usage of the center channel. Doesn't have to be necessarily negative, but being used to Steven Wilson's mixes with prominent lead vocals in the center, I might miss something.

Let's see, my copy should be shipped this Friday

Nice find! Division Bell isn't one of my favorite PF albums, but it is still PF. I think I will stick to my original plan of buying the standalone DVD-A and then see what happens. It does sound like the blu ray is impressive, and that's a good sign. I'm not too worried about less on the center, in fact many times too much center makes it feel like 2 different things are going on instead of one mix. For quad fans less center channel activity might be welcomed.

A nice find indeed. I'm also not worried about the lack of center channel usage as that was never a high priority in the other Pink Floyd 5.1 mixes either.

count me as one who mostly prefers not heavy loaded center. you guys are pushing me over the edge! can't tell you how many times the dvd option has been added to cart then not finalized... it may be go time!

I dont think it will be a real dvd-a, more a audio only dvd-v.

From the website

"Please note: Due to delays in manufacturing, this item will be arriving later than initially planned. You should anticipate receipt of the DVD between the second and third week of July."

I won't pay postage that is the same as the DVD, no Amazon, no buy sadly. Unless JB HiFi in Australia decide to actually sell it.
