Pleased about the individual DVD release. :) Thank you to who arranged that.

I was redirected from the PF website to Warner. I paid with Paypal in USD. The Paypal receipt was from Warner Elektra Atlantic (the official Warner Music store).

I did not receive any email confirmation of the order from Warner Music store itself (yet).

My understanding is that Paypal cover any loss in such transactions. Warner Elektra Atlantic don't have my CC details (why I use Paypal).

Shipping was $6.99USD to AU

I pre ordered mine, I went through a radio station site that had a link to the official pf site which was the same. when i checked out, i did not get the certicate error message that i got prior. so i ordered, i did get the email confirm from them$14.99 plus $4.00 bucks shipping/tax aint bad. maybe the floyd is atoning for the marbles/scarfs we had to buy to get the dvda and blu rays of dark side and wywh.

I just took the dive myself...since I read that the Andy Jackson mix is not new, this will be the best thing on the market for sometime to come as far as this album is concerned.

But I have to agree with Nick Mason: Saucerful of Secrets would be incredible in surround sound...particularly "Set the Controls...".
Speaking of which, I really hope Adrian Maben and James Guthrie are able to work something out for Live At Pompeii.

Just pre-ordered the standalone DVD from the PF euro store..

..the disc itself may 'only' be £9.99..

..but once you factor in:

Shipping & Handling @ £5.98
Grand Total = £15.97

>> a whopping £5.98 for delivery! :yikes who's bringing it to my door? David Gilmour? (he used to live up the road, dunno if he still does!?)

..not quite so palatable for just a DVD-V with music mix of dubious quality both sonically if it's Dolby Digital and mixwise tbh.. and nowt else.. but I guess its £90 less than a huge box full of stuff I'll never use/play/whatever! :D

I ordered from the US site and was charged $15 + $6 shipping to Canada which is very reasonable.

This has totally changed my mood about this release. I don't see why they didn't simply release the blu ray on its own but I'm now a happy man instead of a grumpy man! :)

I'm still sticking with the box set for now.

Blu-Ray is greater than DVD-V, but if the audio on the DVD-V is "Dullby" only like the "Dark Side" and "Wish You Were Here" DVDs in the Immersion sets, then count me out!

With that being said, I'm glad there is a cheaper option available.

Never realized the DSOTM and WYWH dvds were only dolby (only ever played the blu-ray). I hope TDB is at least DTS. Even if it's not I still can't justify a big box full of vinyl I will never play, especially for an only-average album!

I'm pretty sure Division Dell will be the same then (and there's going will be many second hand on eBay soon...)

The immersion sets were in 2011. 5.1 is so much more popular now. I would think that DTS would be a minimum floor for any current release, but clearly its the record company's choice. They have proved they are capable of wonderful surprises and maddening disappointments.

I wouldn't pay one U.S. cent for anything less than DTS.

If this were The Wall or Animals it would be a big deal, but it is only "Three Quarter Floyd", though I rather fancy 4 or 5 songs off this record.

Doesn't matter, come July I'll be all set for the long wait until Wall & Animals(yep, I'll be playing Quadrophenia & Power And The Glory 24/7 to get me through the wait.:phones :smokin)
