We tries and we tries to make the wive's happy. Happy wife, happy life after all.
My wife was into quilting big time once, so I bought this huge quilting rack and a new heavy duty sewing machine.
Well that lasted a few years, anyway. Turned out some beautiful work.

She decided she wanted to play some retro games like Mario Bros so I got her a Wii and a bunch of game cartridges.
That lasted a little while. No, she never rescued the Princess.

Something was "always wrong" with her pc so I built her a new one. After all, all guys know if something doesn't work right, IT'S YOUR DARN FAULT!

Well at least she still uses the pc.

My wife since 1995 is a saint, to have put up with me this long, make no mistake.
I've often wondered where I'd be, had I not found her.

I've got one whole wall and part of another in the living room filled with disc racks. lol.
Three 72" tall and three shorter ones.
Actually the 72" ones are really bookcases I modified and added additional shelves to.
Still have box sets piled up that won't fit in the racks, as I never planned for outsized things bigger than DVD/BD cases.

Yep, those crazy 7” discs are driving me nuts. Great recordings, but the packaging is crazy.

I did that. The last GOS shipment was 6 discs. I told her that Gene gave me a heckuva deal. Her point is " you will never be able to listen to all this music in your lifetime". She does not like clutter. And then there is the excess Audio equipment that I need to rid. Anyone need some high end stuff ?

I feel your pain. I’m going to post a few decent items here, maybe after the holidays, but in the meantime, they’re sitting on the bedroom floor.

Of course .................. wouldn't be worth listening in there if it wasn't. I did think about setting up my Sansui QRX 9001 and four speakers, but that crosses the line!

I little bit of an update. The 22 year old couch has been retired. Actually repurposed. Proper seating arrived today. And on the side wall is the Other Side. The wall that handles more of my disc collection

I little bit of an update. The 22 year old couch has been retired. Actually repurposed. Proper seating arrived today. And on the side wall is the Other Side. The wall that handles more of my disc collection

And hopefully, you'll fill those barren walls with exquisite works of modern art which you can proudly hang by your extensive Classical Music Collection!
