Randomly stumbled upon the Blues Brothers movie on cable today. No matter how many times I see it the movie, and music, never fails to entertain. Remembering the BB act when it was new on SNL I realized I didn't know much else about the history & development. There's a lot more to than I expected. I suggest check it out on Wiki.

And in reading I saw they performed at the Super Bowl XXXI 1997 (Packers: 35 Patriots: 21) at half time. Either this just slipped right past me or I had forgotten it. But wow! I had to check it out. John Belushi was gone by then but Akroyd was joined on stage with his brother Jim & John Goodman.

Oh but then James Brown took the stage & then ZZ Top!
