Thank you. I'm just South and East of Tally, in Suwannee County. Tallahassee is roughly 82 miles away, we're sort of as the crow flies halfway between there and Gainesville.
I hate it for the Big Bend area of Florida if they catch the bulk of it. But I am selfish enough to not want to go through it the 3rd time in 13 months. I've managed to more or less reclaim about 2 acres from Idalia August 30th last year, and Debbie in August this year.
But is what it is I guess. If we absolutely have to DD out we will to stay safe. If only a CAT 1 we'll ride it out like last time.
We welcome all good thoughts toward All That Is to protect us and our home.
Prayers and Positive Thoughts coming your way.
I've been considering returning to Fla in my retirement, but it seems hurricanes are more common than when I lived in Tampa has me changing my mind.
Plus fall weather is so nice up here, 58 tonight

I caught the edge of a handful of hurricanes when I lived in the DC area. A bit scary because of the big trees close to the house, but fortunately our biggest concern was power loss.

Best wishes and stay safe.

Take care, hopefully it pass far away from you

For the third time in 13 months (surely a record hereabouts) we may get another hurricane.
I'm seriously getting too old for this crap.
My AC went out last night and I was lucky to get someone to come today to repair it...BUT the guy said if the wind kicks up he won't go up on the roof...I live in a Condo on the top floor..getting a little "stuffy in here"

Be safe my man...it looks like we are only getting some strong winds, more like a tropical storm here in Clearwater..mostly trees down and storm surge.

OPPO arrived this morning and calling it mint, might be an understatement! It was pretty straightforward on the 4 channel RCA's, but had to go to my copy of the 9001's owners manual (THANK YOU @par4ken ) to input 4 channels
I can forsee a day on the sofa today😂
Back in da Quad game baby!!!!!

I'm coming over there right now, Bruce....Well, in spirit anyway. Have fun!

Can anyone smarter than me....(That's Everyone Here) look at the settings of the previous owner. Under SACD Priority, he had it set to stereo, I changed it to multi-channel. Correct or No?
Also is an oppo wireless dongle different than the wireless dongle off my Panasonic Plasma TV? I can't get the oppo to recognize the Panasonic dongle. And take a look at the other settings
TIA

SACD priority has to be multichannel if you want to listen in 5.1

Ken Scott joining the forum to say "Hi" today really took me by surprise! :SB
Seriously! That was not on my bingo card for 2024. I think he's the highest-profile, longest-working producer/engineer to join QQ to date, with no disrespect or shade to the many other fabulous industry professionals who slum it with us.

See this thread.

As said before, SACD must be set to multi ch if you want surround. As for the dongle I have a 105 & for years used the Oppo supplied WiFi dongle. Then I got the urge to experiment & purchased one that I thought be more advanced with MIMO etc. It did not work. Further research suggests the player & WiFi adapter might be mated up by a MAC Address. Anyways... when I upgraded some network cable I ran CAT 6 to the Oppo. Works great simple set up.

If your are using only 4.0 of the Oppo analog outputs into the Sansui then be sure to set up the speaker selection in the Oppo for 4.0. Otherwise you will be missing information.

According to this thread, the adapter simply needs to use a compatible chipset and should be plug-and-play.

Yes Sir I read that thread some time ago & based my wifi adapter purchase on it & it didn't work. The original adapter & CAT 6 did.

At the risk of stating the obvious to @Bruce00 the wifi adapter is not plug & play. You must mate it up with home wifi & password.
