I only have about 9/10ths of an acre in the Hamptons and yet I see Deer roaming through my yard on a daily basis during deer season ...as well as box turtles and hummingbirds!
And one fine morning I was delighted to see a Mother duck and her babies sailing across my pool.
The only thing I cannot stand are those tiny brown recluse spiders which if bitten will send one to the hospital.
And Long Island is also riddled with WOLF spiders which are the the size of dinner plates. Although I've never seen one, my pool man has and they ain't pretty!
