Call me crazy, but I think Diamonds is a way more interesting album compared to True. It combines some punky new wave with island beats. Pop sensibility that is rough and slightly dirty. True is shiny and pretty clean, leaning strongly on pop discofied rhythms.

Man I'd love this. The holy grail would be the 12" version of "Gold" in Surround, it has one of the best extensions of any song I've ever experienced in a 12" mix. That 2.5-minute intro is THUNDEROUS and would kick ass in surround.

As for albums, I'm gonna be the odd man out and say that Barricades and Heart Like a Sky are my favourites. They were more coherent and polished than the previous ones as far as I'm concerned, kinda felt like they had found their groove with those. I'd understand anybody saying the previous ones were more exciting for being more diverse and adventurous, though.

Gary posted on Instagram last year that this was going to be a hits package rather than one of the studio albums:

I couldn't agree more! Barricades and HLAS are superb albums and my definite favourites from their back catalogue. I recall being amazed at how good HLAS was when it came out and I think it flew under a lot of folks' radars. As for an Atmos release, a hits package would be perfect (with some 12" mixes as bonus tracks but I'm probably hoping for too much there).
