It was the 1969 Peter, Paul & Mary version I heard the most in the UK way back then - but I did know it was a cover!

Picked this up today. Fantastic album. I don't know who Vince was, but I wish he'd taken better care of his records



Ran it through the cleaner: it plays ok now, but lots of scratches, surface noise. I guess it adds ambience & character

It's relegated to my secondary TT that gets all my rough LP's. Fitted with an AT92E which sounds good & was cheap, I wish they still made them.
