This one is a GEM! I'm a sucker for anything Bill Evans. What has me so excited about this one is the rest of the rhythm section is half of the MJQ: Percy Heath on bass and Connie Kay on drums. Add session leader Cannonball Adderley, and it takes it to the next level . . . wait–the Surround Master takes it to the NEXT level! Know what I mean? Highly recommended!

well, I finally snagged a very decent copy of this CLASSIC on LP...the EU original pressing in NM condition..YES, it was EXPENSIVE but it's SOOOO WORTH IT...yes, you may salivate, but do not envy me, I am your friend ;)
I now have this release on all except for ONE media release, the MiniDIsc, and I won't get it cause I have no way of playing it...I originally got it on CD when it came out and played it to DEATH (I transferred it to a Maxell chrome cassette with Gaucho on the other side), then on the Dual Disc, then DVDA (thanks to @peterzach !!!), cassette and now LP...I may say it sounds scrumptious, the typical low mids "warmth" from the compression/limiting...Tata is enjoying it too...

...come on Daddy , get in, let's go indeed!!!

OK, more info. What do you mean it crapped out? Like, no power?

No. It couldn't decide what speed it wanted to play the record at. Kept speeding up and slowing down. At first I thought the boys might have indulged in some psychedelics while making the album, LOL. Anyway, will have to get it off to the repair shop.

Dang, that's really odd. Sorry to hear that. I'd be frustrated as well.

The whole first side, “San Francisco/ Hollywood”, pure unadulterated disco. To think that I used to be able to dance non stop to this at the clubs.
