Reissue of A Saucerful of Secrets in mono, just arrived from Burning Shed.
And, how does it sound?
It is the same as the 2019 reissue per notes on the label. I didn’t have this on vinyl, so I got nothing to compare it against. It’s dead quiet vinyl, good bass, and overall the music is enveloping. If it is the same cut as the RSD release from a few years ago, it sounds good, but not as good as the original mono. But that one goes for insane prices, so this one will do for me.

Totally agree with what you stated, it’s all good! Let’s all Cinco de mayo!Oh yes, I didn't mean to downplay the quality of this release. Saying it isn't as good as the original UK mono may have come across that way. I should clarify that the original UK mono is better, but it's still pretty close. And, with the price of the UK mono being what it is, this one is much more worthy of a purchase. I hope that makes sense.
Ha ha, as much as I know you'd like it, ya can't make Quad out of two stereo LPs Baggy!
I am having fun comparing the reissue to the vintage copy though.Ha ha, as much as I know you'd like it, ya can't make Quad out of two stereo LPs Baggy!
