Years ago I went to the Les Paul estate auction in LA. Indescribable amount of gear and instruments...Mind bogglingly cool. Inspired, I came home and made this one night as my little homage to Les. Can't find it now - don't remember what program material I cut into it.

Welp, I knew it was coming, this morning my Marantz 6300, gave up and now can't control the platter speed. Lasted approx 1 yr after coming out of a 40+ yr storage.......

Was at Waterloo Records in Austin yesterday. Wore the original one out in the late 70's...it's been long gone. Found this 3 record set in the bargain bin, unopened. $10 ! ! View attachment 110939
I once ran into Robert Plant at the Waterloo on Lamar St. I try to go there every time I'm in Austin. You can find some great deals, if you look. I found a first pressing of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida there for $8. Not just the first pressing, but the withdrawn pressing with the early mix.
