Not much time to listen to music lately. I did put this on though. I think I prefer the original non-speed corrected version, but it's good to have both.
Today I got the new album by Razorlight from Assai Records Planet Nowhere. With signed and numbered (009/300) Obi strip, only one signature on it, no idea who's signature it is though, just a squiggle. I've ripped it to mp3 while listening and instantly liked it.
And todays delivery is the new album from Beardfish - Songs For Beating Hearts. Limited transparent orange vinyl with a signed card.
Zombie content, but a little late for Halloween

Years ago I went to the Les Paul estate auction in LA. Indescribable amount of gear and instruments...Mind bogglingly cool. Inspired, I came home and made this one night as my little homage to Les. Can't find it now - don't remember what program material I cut into it.

Very cool. A big regret of mine is not taking the time to see one of his Iridium shows….I just kinda thought he’d be playing there forever…
Yes!! So glad they reunited.
Welp, I knew it was coming, this morning my Marantz 6300, gave up and now can't control the platter speed. Lasted approx 1 yr after coming out of a 40+ yr storage.......

I'm not a big Pain of Salvation fan, but I LOVE this album. I don't just live it, lerve it.
Was at Waterloo Records in Austin yesterday. Wore the original one out in the late 70's...it's been long gone. Found this 3 record set in the bargain bin, unopened. $10 ! !

I once ran into Robert Plant at the Waterloo on Lamar St. I try to go there every time I'm in Austin. You can find some great deals, if you look. I found a first pressing of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida there for $8. Not just the first pressing, but the withdrawn pressing with the early mix.
